“Girls Club is a safe space for girls to understand and appreciate their bodies, practice
self-love, unite in sisterhood, and celebrate what it means to be a girl.”
- A curriculum created by Annie Wolf -
The Four Pillars of Girls Club
-
EDUCATION - we use age-appropriate language, real information, with the intention to educate a confident generation of girls.
-
CELEBRATION - We want to celebrate the changes that are happening within our body! Reframing a mindset that most of us grew up with that we now get to change for these girls. Instead of dreading the physical, emotional, and psychological changes of puberty and becoming a woman, let us learn to see all the power that comes with them and embrace who we are.
-
SELF-LOVE - We want the girls to learn to speak lovingly and kindly to themselves and about themselves. It's always easier in a room full of girls that are doing the same.
-
SISTERHOOD - In Annie's words: "I really do think this is the magic. It’s the small group. Girls in a community with other girls going through the same things, and a trusted adult right there with them."
